English Communication for Teachers
Communication Skills for Best Practices in Teaching
Course Summary
We will work together on Zoom for 1 hour each week. You will also have assignments to practice at home during the week. This homework will require another few hours weekly. The program is 10 weeks in total.
Pillar One: Build the Foundation For the first three weeks we will concentrate on vocabulary and general cultural differences that apply to English communication.
Pillar Two: English for the Classroom We will continue to work with acquiring vocabulary and focus on idioms, expressions, and phrases to express yourself better as an educator and to be able to talk to your students and their parents about their learning.
Pillar Three: Professional English These three weeks focus on the professional English that teachers need to speak with their colleagues, go on interviews, write reports etc.
Every person has different strengths and problem areas with English. My job as a teacher and communication coach is to help you discover what to focus on and to plan online English lessons just for you. I want to help you achieve your goals as quickly as possible.
